Garage & Dirty Tricks
One trophy truck for everybody. What you bolt to it, and what you leave in the road, is up to you.

The speed shop
Spend your winnings between races in a 3D garage. Try parts before you buy: a ghost of the new part shows on your truck first. Every upgrade is visible on the truck, from wider tyres to raised suspension to armour plates.
More shove off the line and out of every corner.
Longer legs on the straights.
More grip, and visibly wider rubber.
Softer landings, higher ride, better over the bumps.
Sharper turn-in for the tight stuff.
Bolt-on plates that soak up Dirty Tricks and crash damage.
In the career, hits carry over between races. In the Outlaw League a big enough hit knocks parts clean off your truck, then works on the chassis. Smoke, fire, and a repair bill. Rivals carry their damage too.
Repair one level at a time, or hit REPAIR ALL and try not to look at the price.

Dirty Tricks
Two buttons: a front gadget fired ahead, and a rear drop left behind you. Buy them in the shop or grab them from crates on track. Land a hit and the game makes a meal of it: a freeze-frame, a camera lean, a crowd roar, and a banner on your victim's screen: MUDDED BY CRUZ CONTROL.
Well-placed hits can earn you nitro and cash. Save a charge for the moment it matters.

Leave a slippery puddle in the racing line. A rival who runs through it loses grip and can spin out.

A bouncing tyre left in the road: a real physical obstacle to knock aside.

Splatters the windscreen of whoever runs into it, and slows them down a little.

Flat tyres you can see: wobbly steering and less speed.

A plate in the dirt that punches a boxing glove up under the next truck.

Hold to charge, then lob a mud ball ahead. A targeting ring helps you line up a rival.

A short burst of shoving power. The plough stays fitted when equipped; amber beacons at either end flash while it is active, then go dark when the charge ends.

Hook the truck ahead, pull yourself into the fight and slingshot past.

A drone chases down the leader and drops an anvil. Watch for the warning shadow. Tip: brake hard just before it drops and it'll miss.
